David Marsh, Owner
David Marsh began his career at Sanford Honda in 1991, starting in the service department and steadily advancing through the organization. In 1994, he took over the dealership from his uncle and mentor, Fred Borman. A devoted family man, David married his high school sweetheart, Alecia, and together they raised their children in Sanford, where they continue to live. David’s commitment to his community is evident in his efforts to assist his friends and neighbors, but his greatest joy comes from spending time with his four grandchildren. David is dedicated to ensuring that every customer at Sanford Honda has a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Stacey Cheek, General Manager
Proud of his local roots, Stacey grew up right outside of Sanford, and lots of folks know his dad who worked for many years at the local Ford dealership. His father has taught him how to deal with people, honestly and fairly, which are lessons Stacey brings to his job at Sanford Honda. Stacey and his family live in Sanford, and he takes pride in being able to shake hands wherever he goes in the community. Oliver “Ollie” Cotterell, Assistant General Manager
Originally from London, England, Ollie Cotterell earned his degree in Business Management before moving to Sanford, North Carolina, in 2014 to work at the Carolina Trace Country Club’s Golf Pro Shop. He holds dual citizenship in the UK and the US. It was at Carolina Trace that he met his wife, Katy Marsh, daughter of Sanford Honda owners David and Alecia Marsh. Ollie joined Sanford Honda as a salesperson in 2018, was promoted to Service & Parts Director in 2020, and became Assistant General Manager in 2023. As David and Alecia Marsh’s son-in-law and a father of four, Ollie is deeply rooted in the Sanford community.
